VIVAnews -Ministry of Law and human rights will not impose parole for prisoners of corruption and terrorism.
"On parole not we do," said the Deputy Minister of Justice and human rights, Denny Indrayana, Kemenkumham Office in Jakarta, 30 October 2011.
Later, Denny says, the Ministry has initiated a long-term remission for his deeds in the moratorium and the perpetrators of terrorists. "Our moratorium, Remissions for cases related to terrorism and corruption, we will examine," said Denny.
More Denny said the discontinuance of remission was done in order to provide a deterrent effect for evildoers. "There are reports, will obtain remission, but I say don't just yet, we want to be strong message that corruption is a crime," said Denny.
One way to provide a deterrent effect is with the advent of the discourse imposed a sentence of five years for the corruptor and the perpetrators of terrorist acts. "The idea is to provide support that the perceived deterrent effect and in accordance with the justice society," said Denny.
Denny says, in the fight against corruption, he has for three years as Deputy Minister was not long, but he was optimistic the measures such as cessation remission will provide a deterrent effect for the corruptor.
