Tripoli - A large amount of money and gold was discovered in an office property of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi. Gold and the money found in the office of the second son of Moammar Gaddafi in Tripoli.
Some parts of the building that became the symbol of power Gaddafi in the past, is currently being destroyed by the NTC. They intend to tear down the Bab al-Aziziya that became the family residence and its cronies Gaddafi.
But, according to a soldier NTC, a treasure trove found in Saif's office in the Bab al-Aziziya, has not been evacuated by them. The money and gold was rumored to be in the office which is located in a basement. So reported Xinhua on Wednesday (10/19/2011).
Previously it shortly after the news came that Tripoli fell to the NTC, a large amount of money stored in the house of Saif al-Islam.
Although, he did not hold important positions in government, Saif still remains a key figure in the government of his father while still in power. This is what makes it credible to store valuable objects owned by Gaddafi.
Currently Saif own existence is still unknown. But certainly he was stuck in the Bani Walid, though most of the Bani Walid is controlled by NTC.
